What you’ll get: ewake can read your FireHydrant incidents on demand, so an investigation can surface “this looks like the incident you ran three weeks ago” instead of starting from a blank page.
Prerequisites
- A FireHydrant account with permission to create API keys
- At least read access to incidents on the key you create
Configuration

Create an API key in FireHydrant
In FireHydrant, go to Settings → API Keys → create a key with read access to incidents.Copy the key immediately, FireHydrant shows it once.

Open the FireHydrant integration in ewake
In your ewake dashboard, go to Integrations → Incident Management → FireHydrant → click Connect with API key.

Paste the key

Test and save
Click Test connection to verify the credentials, then click Save.
FireHydrant is connected. Ewake can now pull incident history into its investigations.
What ewake reads
Ewake reads FireHydrant only. It never declares incidents, changes severity, edits timelines, or posts on your behalf.
