What you’ll get: ewake can create Linear issues directly from an incident investigation and cross-reference active issues with production problems, surfacing in-progress work that might explain unexpected behaviour.

Prerequisites

  • A Linear account with access to the workspace you want to connect
  • Permission to create API keys in Linear

Configuration

Generate a Linear API key

In Linear, go to Settings → API → Personal API keys → click Create key.Give it a name (e.g. ewake) and copy the key immediately.
Copy the key now, Linear will not show it again after closing the modal.

Open the Linear integration in ewake

In your ewake dashboard, go to Integrations → Linear → click Connect with API key.

Enter your API key

Test and save

Click Test connection to verify the connection, then click Save.
Linear is connected. Ewake can now reference your issues during investigations.
Ewake reads Linear during investigations. It creates an issue only when you have configured an Action on an On-Call Agent trigger telling it to, and only with the access your API key already grants.
